由《肖申克的救贖》導演弗蘭克·德拉邦特執導的AMC迷你劇《行屍走肉》自開播至今備受關注，在看過了無數的劇照、定妝照、幕後花絮後，本劇公開了第一支預告片，片長長達4分半鐘，內容豐富詳細，可以令期待本劇的劇迷大飽眼福。同時預告片使用了極具感染力的音樂，精準的混和了悲壯、恐懼的情感和僵屍的 cult感。
《行屍走肉》的主演是《真愛無敵》中那位舉著“對我來講，你是完美的”的聖誕節表白小哥安德魯·林肯主演，預告片中自然也幾乎是其一人獨撐，開場1分半基本是本劇的全部開場片段：警察瑞克在一次執法行動中因中彈負傷而不省人事，當他從昏迷中蘇醒後卻驚訝地發現，這個世界已然天翻地覆，被僵屍占領。周遭一派死境，喪屍橫行，冇有活人蹤影。看來，這個觀點與《28天後》不謀而合：在末日僵屍來臨之時，最安全的做法就是在醫院裡昏迷不醒著。之後，死裡逃生的瑞克趕到家中，卻不見妻兒的蹤影，從此他將孤軍奮戰……
